  17. <p>     One weird aftershock to Warren Beatty's baby bombshell: as
  18. soon as mom-to-be Annette Bening gave up her coveted role as
  19. Catwoman in the sequel to Batman, spunky SEAN YOUNG set out to
  20. convince director Tim Burton that she was purrfect for the part.
  21. In a twisted yet touching display of self-promotion, Young
  22. chartered a jet to find Burton in Burbank, was kicked off the
  23. Warner Bros. lot without seeing him, then turned up on the Joan
  24. Rivers Show to strut her stuff in full cat regalia. "This is a
  25. karma part for me," Young told Rivers, but by that time Michelle
  26. Pfeiffer had the role. Still, if Purina ever needs a
  27. spokeswoman, Sean's a shoo-in.
