- <p> One weird aftershock to Warren Beatty's baby bombshell: as
- soon as mom-to-be Annette Bening gave up her coveted role as
- Catwoman in the sequel to Batman, spunky SEAN YOUNG set out to
- convince director Tim Burton that she was purrfect for the part.
- In a twisted yet touching display of self-promotion, Young
- chartered a jet to find Burton in Burbank, was kicked off the
- Warner Bros. lot without seeing him, then turned up on the Joan
- Rivers Show to strut her stuff in full cat regalia. "This is a
- karma part for me," Young told Rivers, but by that time Michelle
- Pfeiffer had the role. Still, if Purina ever needs a
- spokeswoman, Sean's a shoo-in.
